The Admissions Process
From first inquiry to first day of classes — transparent, supportive, and family-centred.
Attend an Open House or Request Info
Visit us at one of our monthly Open Houses (September–January) or request a personalised information packet. We'll assign you an admissions counsellor.
Campus Tour & Shadow Day
Prospective students spend a full day at Westfield — attending classes, meeting teachers, eating lunch with current students, and experiencing our community firsthand.
Submit Application
Complete our online application including transcripts, teacher recommendations (2), a personal essay, and SSAT/ISEE scores (optional for transfer students).
Family Interview
A 45-minute conversation with a member of our admissions committee. We want to understand your child's passions, goals, and what they'll bring to our community.
Decision & Enrolment
Decisions are communicated within 3 weeks. Accepted families attend a Welcome Reception and connect with their grade-level mentor and orientation coordinator.

What are the application deadlines?
Early Decision: November 15 (notification by December 15)
Regular Decision: January 31 (notification by March 15)
Rolling Admissions: February 1 onwards (space permitting, notification within 3 weeks)
Is financial aid available?
Yes. Westfield awards over $3.2M in need-based financial aid annually. 24% of our student body receives assistance. Aid decisions are made independently of admissions decisions. We use the SSS/NAIS financial aid assessment platform.
Do you accept international students?
Yes. International students currently represent 8% of our student body from 12 countries. We require TOEFL/IELTS for non-native English speakers and can arrange host family placements through our partnership with local agencies.
What is the average class size?
Our average class size is 16 students with a student-faculty ratio of 14:1. AP and Honours sections may be smaller. Every student has a dedicated academic advisor.
Are standardised test scores required?
SSAT or ISEE scores are recommended but not required for domestic applicants. International applicants should submit TOEFL/IELTS scores. We practice holistic admissions and consider the complete applicant profile.
