Our Academic Tracks

Students choose — and can move between — four rigorous pathways, each leading to exceptional college outcomes.

Honours Track

Ages Grades 9–12

The foundation of Westfield academics. Seminar-style classes averaging 16 students. Emphasis on close reading, analytical writing, and Socratic discussion. Prepares students for any college major.

AP Scholars

Ages Grades 10–12

28 AP courses including Calculus BC, Physics C, CS-A, Art History, and Latin. Average AP score of 4.2. Dedicated AP prep workshops and practice exams. 92% pass rate (national average: 60%).

STEM Innovation

Ages Grades 9–12

Engineering design thinking, computational research, biotech. Partnerships with MIT Lincoln Lab. Students present at regional and national science fairs. 15 published research papers last year.

Liberal Arts & Humanities

Ages Grades 9–12

Deep interdisciplinary study: philosophy, world literature, constitutional law, creative writing. Model UN, competitive debate, and a nationally recognised student literary journal.

Every student is paired with an academic advisor who reviews progress bi-weekly using learning analytics, AP score predictions, and GPA tracking.

Research Mentorship

From sophomore year, students can apply for our Research Fellowship — a year-long mentored project culminating in a published paper or conference presentation.

Global Perspectives

Exchange programmes with schools in 8 countries. Model UN, Global Issues Forum, and a required course in world religions and comparative government.

College Destinations

Our three-person college counselling team works with every family from sophomore year through acceptance.
