About Westfield Preparatory Academy

A 62-year legacy of academic rigour, character formation, and preparing young people to lead with purpose.

Our Mission

Westfield Preparatory Academy exists to cultivate intellectually curious, morally courageous, and socially responsible young people prepared to thrive in college and beyond.

Founded in 1962 by a group of educators who believed that rigorous academics and strong character are inseparable, Westfield has grown from 48 students in a converted farmhouse to a premier independent school serving 720 students across a 45-acre campus.

Our Core Values

  • Intellectual Rigour — We expect excellence because we believe every student is capable of it. Our curriculum is demanding, our standards are high, and our support is unwavering.
  • Integrity — The Westfield Honour Code isn't just words on a wall. It's the foundation of how we learn, teach, and live together as a community.
  • Service — Every student completes 200 hours of community service by graduation. We learn by doing, and we lead by serving.
  • Resilience — We teach students to embrace challenge, learn from failure, and persist through difficulty. These are the skills that matter most beyond the classroom.
